Welcome to Life Skills 1

We are so excited you are here.  Some classes at Canine Craze are set-up with both an online component and in-person component.  The benefits of this set-up are as follows:

  • Allows you to gain the knowledge in a low distraction environment.
  • Allows you to implement what you learn with your dog in a low distraction environments.  
  • Allows you to revisit previous training exercises by re-watching the videos.

Class structure and expectations:

  • The first week will be WITHOUT dogs.
  • You will want to watch the orientation video and short training videos BEFORE coming to the first class.  Please write down any questions and we will have a class discussion and answer those questions.
  • Week-1 focuses on handler mechanics.  A dog's success in training lies within the communication that occurs between them and their owner.  We will be playing fun games that help build better handler mechanics and communication.
  • The remaining 6-weeks of class will be with your dog.
  • It is highly recommended to watch the training videos before and practice with your pup before coming to class.
  • Class will be set-up in stations and the time will be used to practice while our trainers assist you with implementing and troubleshooting each training exercise.

Please fill-in the form below to gain access to the online content of your Life Skills 1 class.  Access to the online content will begin 7-days prior to the start date of your class.  We look forward to meeting you and your dog!

Additional Information:

  • You will have access to the online content for 90 days.  You can continue to revisit this and re-watch any videos throughout that 90 day period.
  • When coming to class please come to the back of the building and enter through our backdoor.  Classes are held in the back portion of the facility and this helps with traffic flow.
  • Please potty your pup before coming into class.  Appropriate potty areas are to the east of the building.  Please do not allow your pup to potty next to any buildings or around neighboring businesses.  The grass to the east of the building is not attached to any building.
