Drop-In Classes

Members have access to exclusive individual drop-in classes, which increase flexibility in schedules and allow members to mix and match topics to try new things. These hour-long classes cover a variety of subjects. These classes must be registered for individually.

Each month, Community Manners and Trick Dog will be offered. In addition to these regular drop-ins, 2-3 specialty classes will be available for three months, rotating each month. Each quarter, there will also be a drop-in CGC test offering.

Each drop-in class can be registered for $35 or with a class credit. Please visit the Canine Craze website to register.

Multi-Week Classes

Classes that benefit from working with the same cohort have transitioned to multi-week classes. This includes our Canine Good Citizen class. The prices of these classes are $35 per week, equivalent to each drop-in class.

For those with Plus memberships, your monthly membership credit may also be applied to these classes. However, only one credit can be utilized per multi-week class. Please visit the Canine Craze website to register.

Special Events

Every quarter, we will host new events to pique your interest in new areas of dog training, dog raising, or animal psychology. Events will rotate between speakers, clinics, and exhibitions. Additionally, there will be occasional field trips covering various topics.

These events will be available for registration on a first-come, first-served basis. They will be announced in the Club's quarterly newsletter. Due to the unique nature of each event, registration prices will be determined per event. Please note that drop-in class credits cannot be used to register for these special events.

Community Events

Get to know your community through a variety of community events. Each month, there will be an organized group walk, fit dog walk, or geocaching event. These will be located on various trails and parks around the Des Moines metro area. More information about these events will be available in the virtual community's "Meetups" tab. Please RSVP there so the group lead will anticipate your arrival. These are free to attend.

Additionally, there will be a volunteer activity to give back to the community each quarter. Most of these events will be listed under "Meetups" unless the specific organization has special instructions.

These events will be announced each quarter in the quarterly newsletter, along with any additional social events.

Virtual Challenges

Want to join the Challenge? On our online community page, there will be various virtual challenges under the "Challenge" tab. Some of these will be one-time challenges, and others will take place over multiple weeks. These will break down significant goals into week-long segments. Post updates on your progress and show your support to your community as we work together to accomplish our goals. Whether to earn a title you've always wanted or to have fun with your dog, let's do it as a community.

While the challenges will be broken down on a weekly schedule, this is just an outline for those wanting accountability. Need to skip a week? No big deal. Have you missed the beginning of the Challenge? Start now! Share your success; however, that looks for you and your dog.

Some challenges are eligible for AKC titles and can be evaluated via posted videos. Challenges will be announced in the quarterly newsletter.

Open Gym

Have you ever wanted to work on training outside of class but didn’t have enough room or the right equipment? Do you need an indoor space to practice during the winter? With our Open Gym program, you can rent the Canine Craze space and equipment.

After attending an orientation, you can sign up for time slots to rent a classroom or the whole facility for solo training. You’ll have access to our specialized equipment for agility, fitness, and more.
There will be opportunities for group orientations. In addition, you can schedule an individual session as well. Please visit the links below to schedule an orientation.

Community App

Our Craze Trained Club virtual community is the heart of our club! 

This is where you'll be able to connect with other members via "Circles" by asking questions, sharing your accomplishments, or just getting to know each other and showing support. 

You'll also find the virtual challenges, newsletter, meetups, and any reminders here. 

Each week, the upcoming class schedule will be posted for those with free time coming up. 

The CTC virtual community is accessible through the Kajabi Communities app. We highly recommend downloading it and turning on notifications to always stay updated.

Keep an eye out for any CTC updates in your email.

Each month on the 25th, you will receive a class newsletter that will announce an additional month's class schedule, along with any new specialty classes.

Our quarterly newsletter will be sent out on the 20th before the quarter starts. This will emailed to each member, but will also always be available in the virtual community under the "Newsletter" tab.

As events approach, you will also receive email reminders and applicable Zoom links.

The Craze Trained Club continuously seeks ways to serve this community better. There will be occasional surveys sent out for feedback about changes or new offerings.

Class Credits

The drop-in classes allow flexibility in attending and, mixing and matching class topics.

To sign up for a drop-in class, you can utilize credits or purchase each class individually. If you utilize credits, you can purchase credit packages for savings per class. Depending on the package purchased, these credits will expire after various amounts of time, so please plan accordingly.

For our Plus members, you will receive a credit to your account every month (expires after one month). This credit will be added on the 20th of each month.

To purchase credit packages, utilize the link located below under important links. After purchasing your credits, you can sign up for drop-in classes via the Canine Craze website.

Please note that the credits added to your account can be used for any dogs in your household that qualify. When purchasing credit packages, select "-Any-" under the dog option. If you select a specific dog, it will only be added to their account.

Badges

What’s life without goals? Here at the Craze Trained Club, we want to encourage continual training with your dog. As you try new things, look in our newsletters for new badges to be earned. Whether that is rewarding you for trying new things, being outside, or being social, we hope you’ll want to collect all the Craze Trained Club exclusive badges. After completing the badge requirements, you will receive the earned badge keychains in the mail.

Display them proudly and show everyone what you and your furry family have accomplished!

Dog Perfect

With your membership in the Crazed Trained Club, you receive unlimited access to Dog Perfect. Whether you’ve already taken the class and would like to refresh on some of the exercises or want to start from the beginning, you can go back and watch the content and download the worksheets. Additionally, you have access to the semi-monthly live Q&As.
