Join us for a Community Town Hall. During this time, we'll share exciting announcements, giveaways, upcoming events, get feedback for future planning, and have a social activity.

June's Activity: Puzzles

Please RSVP in Meetup

Join us for a real-world training adventure at the Downtown Farmers' Market! This Community Manners outing is designed to help your dog build confidence while practicing skills in a busy, ever-changing environment.

We’ll focus on emotional regulation, reading and understanding your dog’s body language, and generalizing known skills around new sights, sounds, people, and distractions. To help dogs feel successful, we will begin away from the market and gradually work closer only if your dog is comfortable and ready.

Through guided exercises and trainer support, you’ll learn how to better support your dog in stimulating environments while building confidence, focus, and teamwork at your dog’s pace. Whether your dog is working on staying calm, navigating distractions, or feeling more comfortable in busy spaces, this outing is all about creating positive experiences and practical life skills together.

Join us as we celebrate 3 amazing years of CTC with a Membership Appreciation Cookout! We’re incredibly grateful for the members who have made our club what it is and helped make so many classes, events, and memories possible over the years.

To say thank you, we’re hosting a fun, casual social gathering, no dogs this time! Come enjoy a cookout, connect with fellow members, and join in on some friendly competition with yard games as we celebrate everything we’ve built together as a community.

While there is no cost to attend, please RSVP so we can make sure we have enough food for everyone. Feel free to bring friends or family along to join in on the fun, we’d love to celebrate with you!

Loose leash walking is one of the most common training goals and one of the most frustrating to teach. Success isn't just about practicing an exercise. It's about consistency, clear communication, and knowing how to progress your training.

Join us as we discuss why loose leash walking often breaks down, how to make expectations black and white for your dog, when to use different training tools and management strategies, and how to build skills that transfer from your driveway to busy public spaces.

Current & Upcoming Virtual Challenges

Join us in virtual challenges where you can participate from the comfort of your home and even earn titles.

While these challenges have "Official" start dates, you can join anytime! We will be breaking down bigger goals or titles into manageable chucks. Utilize these start dates as guides to keep you accountable, if needed.

To join a challenge, please visit the "Challenge" tab on the navigation bar in the Virtual Community. This is available via the app and on a computer.

Generalization Challenge

Challenges opens June 1st

Context plays a significant factor in how dogs learn and behave. Cues your pup has learned at your home or Canine Craze may seem like foreign concepts to them in other locations. The more these skills are practiced in various environments, the more reliable they will become.

During this challenge, you'll choose a new location to practice the same known behaviors each week. We suggest picking 2-3 behaviors that they reliably respond to in their everyday environment. Please be mindful of selecting locations and prioritize setting them up for success.

AKC Trick Dog Challenge

Challenge opens July 6th

Master one trick per week from the list of tricks. After completing 10 tricks, schedule a time with an AKC Evaluator from Canine Craze to earn your title!

Need help with your tricks? Sign-up for one of our drop-in trick dog classes: https://caninecraze.dogbizpro.com/public/registration/index.aspx?cat=17
